On tues there is only S and Q lec.

Then the following WED there is no sku

Thurs, Fri and Sat will be OPEN HOUSE DAY:)

FS0901 TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS LUNCH!

Hurray, another year have past and we have been frens for like almost two years going through both UNHAPPINESS and HAPPINESS:)

Every year our class will have this Christmas Lunch, but sadly, this time 4 our classmates couldnt make it. Nevertheless, i hoped that next year they could go:)

This year Christmas is surprisingly organise by me and Qasrina, it might not be very good, but still i hoped that everyone enjoy at least we make an effort to planned it. HAHA!! Anw, bottoms are few pictures of it.

Monday

Lesson as perusual morning there is lecture on Analytical then 3hours break and practical by TSK! I suppose the practical manual he will be giving out to us tml. Do finish up ur report and pass up tml to TSK!

Tuesday

S & Q lecture with 2hour breaks and then THERE IS Biotech and Analytical PRACTICAL plus finally our tutorial for NS.

Wednesday

Lecture for NS as usual from 9am.

Thursday

4hours lecture straight for Biotech first then FP. There is no PROJ 3.

Friday

PUBLIC HOLIDAY!

Happy Deepavali to our dear and only Revu!! Haha!!

Lastly, do Finish up ur PROJ3 presentation on the GREEN Smoothie cause we have to present it on WEEK4.

WO WO WO WO WO...

It has been long that we last blog.

Welcome back to school. First week has past and i hope that you are going on well.

First week is like SLACKING week while the subsequence week we shall strive hard and Study well. :p

Well, for ur misfortunate, me and Qas will be your class reps for another semester! Haha. Dun be too sad ya? We will try our best this time to make it better again :p

Currently we have 7 module and there are 7 reps too.

Next i shall talk about the upcoming week schedule:

Monday: Lesson as per usual lecture by Tay Mai Eng followed by prac by TSK!! This time the prac will be Fd Processing as wad TSK have said first 5 weeks it will be Fd processing practical.

Tuesday: Lecture by Sze Wee Ping then 6hours of break and 5-6 there will be Tut for Nutrition Science. Reminder there is no prac for both Analytical and Fdbiotech however, u can work out on ur project stuff ya? Make use of the time :p One more thing! Do pass up ur analytical report to Alvin ya!

Wednesday: Amy lecture at LTQ-6 and TSK tut is MOVED to FRIDAY 1-2PM!!.

Thursday: 4 hour of lecture straight by Jonny Quek and TSK. There is no prac for Proj3 but u are suppose to discuss and do ur presentation on SMOOTHIESS!! Hehe

Friday: Lecture by TSK at 830am. The time i am not very sure but i suppose its still like last week. If there is any changes i will tell u guys ya! After lecture straight it will be our tut by TSK for FPP then from 1-2 it will be FP tut. There is no tut for S & Q, but do ur project cause it is due on Week 7!!

Fun in Studies

It’s July! Time really flies! So fast one semester is going to end! Although this month is very busy for everybody, but most of us still had fun! During our food chemistry practical, we have to wait 1 hour plus for the experiment to finish, the whole class was entertaining themselves, dancing, singing and taking pictures in the chemistry lab!

However this month, there’s also many food science lecturers are leaving, one of them is Mr Stewart! Manage to take picture with the whole class before he leaves! Bye and thanks for teaching us sir!

And at the same time, taking a class photo too! But not a complete one.

Lastly SCL(LS) will hold a national day celebration at the auditorium annually, this time round its pushed to 23 July, as due to YOG, the school has to celebrate earlier. Below are some pictures of our classmates taking photos with the lecturers.

Although it’s kinda a short post, but picture speaks a thousand words!

School isn’t about studying only, we had our greatest fun in school with friends too!

Term break

My class looked forward to the month of June. The reason was really simple, it’s because our long waited term break was finally here. We needed the short 2 weeks break to relax ourselves a little more than usual school days as reports & projects were flooding in. Besides the reports & projects, Year 2 Food Science had 1 of their common test papers done on the 7th of June as our Food Chemistry lecturer will be leaving to do what she wanted to do which is to do research work.
The 2 weeks of break was also used to hang out with our friends & family members, complete or start on projects and most importantly is to study for the rest of our common test papers. Some of us met up on certain days of the 2 weeks to discuss projects in the school’s library and we had lunch together in Koufu. We enjoyed ourselves as we chat and joke around with each other. =))
Now that the term break and common test papers are all done, we’re back to school with our usual routines. Heard that the common tests results will be out pretty soon, I hope all of us in NYP did well for their papers. All the best!
